Has it every dawned on you that nothing’s ever dawned on God? He uses all things for His good purposes (Gen 50:20; John 3:16)…even pandemics because many have recently come to trust in Christ, really praying to God for the very first time in their lives. He is not up in heaven wringing His hands, thinking, “What’ll I do now?” or “What will My children do?” Rather, God has promised to never leave or forsake His own (Heb 13:5), even if it looks like it. Even in valleys where the shadows of death appear, He is present with you (Psalm 23:4). Remember Jesus was with the disciples in the boat when the storm hit. He knew it was coming, so He may not take you around the valleys, under the valleys, or over the valleys of the shadow of death (or pandemics, economic crisis’, etc.), but He does promise to go with you through them.
