Worshipping God as Creator

The object of our worship is simple. It’s God. And there is only one true God (Deut. 6:4), but the angel doesn’t simply say, “worship the true God.” He is specific about who God is. He is calling us to get to know Him in a special way. By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth. Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere Him. For He spoke, and it came to be; He commanded, and it stood firm.

Sharing The Word of God

Our mission is proclaiming Christ as the only Saviour from sin and the only way to abundant, eternal life. Sharing the gospel humbly, boldly, and passionately is our Christian mission. But we cannot do it alone. The power and results of Christian missions come from the Lord. He gives us the wisdom, strength, and desire to witness! Through our witness, He works repentance and faith in the sinner’s heart.

Jesus summed it up in one verse, John 14:6 – “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Giving – Grace – Glory

For the Lord God is a sun and shield the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk upright

The Lord gives; there is nothing freer than a gift, and there can be nothing freer than that greatest of all the gifts of God, eternal life. That expression “eternal life, sums up these two things grace and glory. “The Lord will give grace and glory.” It is His glory to give His grace; and because of His graciousness, He gives glory. Glory never comes without grace coming first, but grace never comes without glory coming last; the two are bound together, and “what God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”
